Portrait sizes are suggestions and can be adjusted. Taxes and Framing are not included. Artist's travel and accommodations are paid by client. 25% deposit and balance due upon delivery. Commission Procedure Several steps are involved for a portrait to be painted. First, I like to discuss with the client his/her needs and expectations. We review the medium, the size of the portrait, and the subject matter. Second, an appointment is scheduled for a photographic sitting of the subjects. I prefer to take my own photographs and use this as an opportunity to get to know the subjects. A contract is signed at this time. The contract requires a 25% deposit. Next, an appointment is scheduled to review proofs and mutually agree upon the pose to use for the portrait. Finally, when the portrait is completed, arrangements are made for the delivery of the completed portrait. The balance of the commission is collected at the time of delivery.
